Parents help out in a wide variety of ways – in the library, in the classroom and with craft and sporting activities.

All the parents of pupils in the school are automatically members of the Junior School Association (JSA). The committee organises a number of fund raising and social events throughout the year and relies on the active involvement of parents and friends to support them.

The JSA actively supports the school through its fundraising efforts. It raises money for all those extras that help to enhance the lives of the pupils in the school but which, unfortunately, are outside the normal budget.

The children love their parents being involved with the school life and its a great opportunity to make new friends and become integrated with Holmer Green Junior School.

The financial help given by the JSA cannot be understated. All pupils benefit from the many initiatives in school, which are possible because of the support offered. The JSA also runs a 50/50 club, the profits from which are put towards the cost of school resources.
